Alpina stainless-steel cake server, 28.5 cm

The Alpina cake server is a 28.5 cm stainless-steel utensil for lifting and serving slices of cake, tart, pie and similar baked goods. Its broad triangular blade slides beneath a portion and supports it while it is moved to a plate. The cylindrical handle ends in a loop for hanging storage.

Cut the portion with a suitable knife before sliding the server underneath; the blade is intended to support food rather than replace a cutting knife.
