Description
The Alpina Smart Zigbee PIR motion sensor monitors movement indoors and can pass detection events to the Alpina Smart system through a compatible Zigbee gateway. It can be used as a trigger for app notifications or configured smart-home actions.
- The stated detection range is up to 5 m with a 120° angle. Placement, line of sight, ambient temperature and movement direction affect practical detection.
- The IP20 rating means the sensor is intended for dry indoor locations and is not protected against water.
- Power is supplied by one 3 V CR2450 battery. The housing measures 46 × 30 mm.
- A compatible Alpina Smart Zigbee gateway is required and sold separately. Radio range and notification delivery depend on the gateway, network and app settings.
- Use the sensor as an aid rather than the only security measure; it cannot guarantee detection of every person or prevent theft.
The package contains one Alpina Smart PIR motion sensor. A Zigbee gateway and phone are not included.
