What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Protection with a sense of style

The 3mk Misty MagCase is made for people who refuse to choose between safety and good looks. Inside, RST™ – Reinforced Structure Technology – pairs a rigid PC back with flexible TPU sides, so impact energy spreads evenly and the phone stays protected through everyday drops and knocks. The hybrid build also keeps its shape far longer under heavy daily use.

A matte finish that stays fresh

The matte, oleophobic coating gives the case a soft, glare-free surface and the misty look the Misty line is known for. Fingerprints and smudges do not settle on it and the finish does not discolour, so the case still looks tidy after months in your pocket. A semi-transparent back paired with a coloured frame keeps the original design of your device on show.

Raised edges and Military Grade toughness

Edges raised above the screen and around the camera module keep the most vulnerable parts off the table, while precise cutouts leave the lenses and buttons completely free. The case has passed a Military Grade drop test, so a rushed day and the occasional accidental knock are nothing to worry about.

Magnetic convenience every day

MagSafe compatibility lets you snap on chargers, mounts and other magnetic accessories straight away, and wireless charging works without taking the case off. At just 2 mm across the back and sides it adds protection without bulk, goes on and off easily, and pairs neatly with 3mk Protection glasses and films.
