Tempered glass or hydrogel film — what is the difference?

Tempered glass (9H hardness) protects against drops and scratches and feels like the real screen under your finger. Hydrogel film is thinner and flexible, sits properly on a curved screen and heals surface scratches by itself — but it does not absorb impact. For most phones we recommend tempered glass.

Does a screen protector make the display worse?

No. A good protector has over 99% light transmission and an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints. Colours and brightness stay the same.

Will a protector interfere with the fingerprint reader?

Tempered glass can slow down an in-display reader slightly. Hydrogel film works better with that technology. Tip: re-register your fingerprints after fitting the protector.

How often should a screen protector be replaced?

Replace it as soon as you see cracks or deep scratches — a cracked protector no longer protects properly. A good one typically lasts 6–12 months.

Description

Crong Nano Glass is a flexible 100D hybrid screen protector for iPhone 16 Plus / 15 Plus. It combines a polymer-based structure with a 9H scratch-resistance rating while retaining a thinner, more flexible form than conventional rigid tempered glass.

The protector is shaped to cover the usable display area from edge to edge.
Its flexible hybrid construction is designed to bend rather than crumble like conventional rigid glass.
The profile remains compatible with most correctly fitted protective cases; final edge clearance depends on the individual case.
Clean and dry the display carefully, align the protector with the phone and press it into place during installation.

The package contains one Crong Nano Glass hybrid screen protector. The phone, protective case and installation tools are not included.
