What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Exact compatibility is 44 mm Apple Watch Series 4–6 and SE 1–3, 45 mm Series 7–9, 46 mm Series 10 / 11, and 49 mm Apple Watch Ultra 1–3.
Check the watch model and case size before fitting and never force the connectors into the slots. Slide both ends fully into place and confirm that each has locked before wearing the watch.
The woven material allows airflow and helps move moisture away from the skin, but it can still retain sweat and dirt. Wash only as suitable for nylon, rinse away soap and let the strap dry fully before wearing it again.
Set the hook-and-loop closure so the watch is snug but comfortable and the rear sensors maintain skin contact. Inspect and refasten it before sport or any activity where the strap could catch or loosen.
Keep lint and debris out of the fastening area. Stop use if the weave, stitching, connector or closure is torn, stretched, damaged or no longer holds securely, or if skin irritation occurs.
