What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

AirTag 1

Description

Crong Silicone is a black liquid-silicone case shaped for Apple AirTag 1 / 2. Its flexible molded pocket holds the tracker while leaving both faces visible, and the integrated loop connects it to the included aluminium-alloy key ring.

The soft, lightweight silicone wraps the edge of the tracker and helps reduce everyday scratches and dirt without enclosing its two faces.
A hydrophobic surface is easy to wipe clean after ordinary use.
The double-sided open design is intended not to obstruct the AirTag's wireless communication with a compatible iPhone.
The lightweight aluminium-alloy ring resists rust and lets the holder attach to keys, a bag or another suitable loop.

The package contains one black Crong Silicone AirTag case and one aluminium-alloy key ring; the AirTag, keys and other pictured items are not included.
