What is the difference between a silicone and a plastic case?

A silicone case is soft and flexible, and it absorbs impact well. It grips in the hand, but it collects dust and yellows over time. A hard plastic (PC) case is thin and easy to keep clean, but it does not give under impact. For most people a TPU or hybrid case is the better compromise — it combines both.

How do I choose the right case?

Choose for the way you actually use the phone: if you drop it often, take a rugged case; if you want to keep the phone slim, TPU or silicone is enough; if you want to carry cards, pick a wallet case. Above all, check that the case is made for your exact phone model.

Does a case protect against drops?

Yes, though how much depends on the type. A thin silicone case keeps scratches away and helps with low falls. Rugged cases such as UAG or Spigen Tough Armor are drop-tested from 2–3 metres and give the most protection.

Why does a clear silicone case turn yellow?

UV light and the natural oils on your skin cause it. It is normal and cannot be prevented entirely. Tip: a darker colour or a clear TPU case yellows far less visibly.

Description

Grey Etteri Matt Mag Ring case for iPhone 15 Pro (6.1-inch)

The Etteri Matt Mag Ring case combines soft TPU edges with a rigid PC back. At 2.5 mm thick, it balances a slim profile with protection: the flexible edges absorb impacts, the hard back resists scratches and raised edges help protect the screen. A subtle embossed side logo and a matte, fingerprint-resistant finish complete the design.

The metal holder contains 2700 Gs magnets and works as a viewing stand or finger grip. Its geared mechanism makes a subtle sound as the holder moves. The case supports MagSafe and wireless charging.

Precise openings for ports, buttons and a lanyard preserve full functionality. The case comes in minimalist, environmentally conscious packaging.
