Pet-immune PIR motion detector. Ajax MotionProtect detects the first step of an intruder but ignores pets, drafts, and air-conditioner noise.

Maximum performance

Works up to 1,700 meters from Ajax Hub in open space or across several floors of a business center. Detects motion up to 12 meters away, recognizes the first step of an intruder, and processes signals digitally.

Protection from intruders and failure

Authentication protects against fraud, while the tamper-resistant body, encrypted connection, jamming detection, and frequency hopping provide additional protection. Detector responses can be checked every 12-300 seconds.

Effortless operation

Three sensitivity levels are available. SmartDetect ignores animals weighing less than 20kg. A FresnelTech optical component made from POLY IR4 and an Excelitas PIR sensor reduce false alarms from equipment and electromagnetic interference. Digital temperature compensation supports operation under varied conditions. Two-way communication with Ajax Hub allows testing and customization. Battery life is up to 7 years.

Simple professional-level installation

SmartBracket mounts do not require disassembling the body. Connection quality and the detection area can be tested remotely. The detector connects to Ajax Hub with one click and supports third-party security systems through uartBridge and Bridge Plus.
