Tempered glass or hydrogel film — what is the difference?

Tempered glass (9H hardness) protects against drops and scratches and feels like the real screen under your finger. Hydrogel film is thinner and flexible, sits properly on a curved screen and heals surface scratches by itself — but it does not absorb impact. For most phones we recommend tempered glass.

Does a screen protector make the display worse?

No. A good protector has over 99% light transmission and an oleophobic coating that repels fingerprints. Colours and brightness stay the same.

Will a protector interfere with the fingerprint reader?

Tempered glass can slow down an in-display reader slightly. Hydrogel film works better with that technology. Tip: re-register your fingerprints after fitting the protector.

How often should a screen protector be replaced?

Replace it as soon as you see cracks or deep scratches — a cracked protector no longer protects properly. A good one typically lasts 6–12 months.

PanzerGlass Diamond Strength Ultra-Wide Fit Privacy glass for iPhone 15 Pro

Diamond Strength tempered glass protects the iPhone 15 Pro screen from scratches and impacts. Its privacy filter hides content from people looking from the side. The adhesive layer and applicator support bubble-free installation and allow the glass to be repositioned. A dirt-resistant surface repels grease, water and fingerprints.
