Description
This battery-powered sensor measures soil temperature and moisture and sends the readings to the Tuya Smart or Smart Life app over Wi-Fi.
Functions and use
- It connects directly to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi without a hub and uses Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 for initial pairing.
- The app provides current readings, daily, monthly and yearly history, data export, sharing and separate high or low alerts for temperature and moisture. It can be used with a separately purchased compatible smart-irrigation system.
- Insert the probe vertically into soil. It is not intended for sand, fine gravel, sawdust or liquids.
